The family

This is my husband, Monte, and me. We me when I was 19 and were married in 4 months. Every one says we were crazy and it was never going to last, but 8 years later things are going great.  He is my exact opposite, which isn't always easy but a lot more fun than being exactly the same. He is what I need to face the day and survive.

Madilyn Grace

This is our oldest, Madi. She is 7 and in second grade. If you're doing the math, she was conceived 2 weeks after our wedding, born two weeks after my 20th birthday. She is always happy, lives in her own little world and sometimes thinks she is 17. School has been a struggle for her. This year we are trying a charter school, OhDela. She attends a few classes a week online and then I do the rest of her schooling with her. 




 Mario Goku
This is my little man. He is two and a hard core momma's boy. He loves girls and can be pretty charming. He is more stuborn than any two year old should be capable of being. When he wants something, he doesn't give up. He loves animals and anything with wheels and is constantly, constantly on the go.

Othello the Cat

 This is my lazy cat. All he does is sleep, which makes me jealous. He used to be Mario's buddy when they were both younger but now Othello doesn't have the energy to keep up with him. Every once in a while they will take over my bed and just climb up there to take a nap together. He is the perfect companion for napping or quiet activities like reading.

Moose A. Moose

This is the newest edition to the family, a 6 month old boxer mix. He is the sweetest dog and will lick you to death. He and the kids are capable of undoing all the housework I have done in minutes. He thinks he is a lap dog but weighing 70 pounds doesn't make that very feasible.Like the cat, he has adopted me as his owner. Between the two of them, I always have an animal trying to climb on me. It makes me feel a bit like Snow White.
